Why the tiers? During the pre-ICO period, XChan operates with limited reserves. The 2% retail tier keeps costs low for most users. The 10% accredited tier applies to large sells (over 80,000 KX per day) and reflects the risk of concentrated selling against limited USDC reserves. This spread will decrease as market maturity grows.

Spread schedule: 10% at launch → 7% target Q2 2027 → 5% target Q1 2028 → Uniswap routing at maturity.
